About the artist:

Kristine grew up in beautiful sunny San Diego California spending her days and nights
swimming at the beach and hanging out with family & friends.

She moved to Portland Oregon in the late 1980's and attended a local art school.   There
she began to dream and make plans of supporting herself full time creating her art/craft
in a medium she loves:  Fused Stained Glass

About eight years ago, Kristine started selling her pieces at Portland Saturday Market:
a weekend arts/crafts market running from March up until the day before Christmas.  At
Saturday Market, because the buyers and sellers interact closely, Kris gained valuable
experience in  sales and marketing while being creative with art.
Kris tends to work in a loose mode with scraps and broken pieces of fusible glass, and
that's where the name "Broken Pieces" was born.

Kris has been fortunate to live her dream for the past ten years making fun colorful
whimsical pieces that are guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
